will certainly pray for the full recovery of your little boy. Miracles do happen and the power of prayer is awesome. My grandson was born with cancer and lost a kidney at age 2 1/2. I know the stress and the tears but somehow, knowing that so many people were praying for him, it helped us get through that period. Blessings to you and little Jacob.

I too have a son with a severe illness. He is 33 now. The one thing I have learned (and I still forget) is One hour, One Day at a time.

I am healed, but have (and will retain) a hole in my hip from my tuffett incident. Thanks for remembering! ;-)

I'm doing better today. I'm thinking of taking him to Boston for second opinions and more treatment options.

Boy, you have my prayers. And a lot of understanding with liver disease.

A "good" cry is cathargic,.. and I know that you have the strength and the heart to keep the faith. A TON of prayers are going up for *all of you* RIGHT NOW!! I hope you can FEEL them!

Precious little guy!! I wish I could give both of you a big hug!

God willing he will NEVER need a liver transplant! From what little I've read about it, as I understand it he has an abnornal "protease inhibitor" gene (piZZ). I had often hoped and prayed the the protease inhibitor would be my cure all. It is such an important gene for the liver. So they have a much better understanding of this gene's role in the liver than they did even 5 years ago. Which has really given me a lot more hope in recent years.

Just know that our Father in heaven LOVES the little children, and He loves YOU.

So, we are just going to remember all the amazing things that have happened on this forum from all of us PRAYING together, K?

Remember "when many gather in His name"....

AND WE ARE MANY!! :o)
