I would rather put Demos in...

What do you hold most against Bush?

Not signing onto Kyoto?
Stopping federal funding of abortions?
Refusing to sign on to U.N. Crimes Court?
Outlawing partial birth abortion?
Repealing OSHA's new ergonomic regulations that were about to put every home-based business in America out of commission?
Canceling the ABM treaty with the defunct USSR, and refunding our National Missile Defense program?
Restoring irrigation water to Klamath Falls farmers?
His support for faith based initiatives?
His tax cuts?
His war on TERROR - Taking it to the enemy?

You think Gore would have done any of these things?

The idea that some so-called conservatives would rather give us a Democrat President than vote for Bush, just because they don't get everything they want is really sad.

I used to call that throwing a tantrum when the grand son was young.

The Rove Republicans have accomplished some good things but it seems they are not acting on principle but on "pandering." In the spirit of pandering, naturally, some of things they do will be appreciated by conservatives.

The Farm Bill and immigration. et al, are inconsistent with the more conservative items you listed. Which indicates a lack of principled leadership.

It would be different if big-goverment-entitlement programs were Democratic initiatives that were begrudgingly accepted as part of the normal democratic process of give and take - but that was not the case. These inconsistent policies were willfully brought forth and promoted by the Rove Replublicans to pander to certain special interests at the expense of their core base.
