IMHO, just outlawing high fructose corn syrup and like substances from our food stuffs would go a long way toward solving the "fat" problem.

It amazes me... a bottle on the grocery shelf screams, "100% JUICE." Then you look at the label and HFCS is one of the ingredients. How can this be? HFCS does not exist in nature, it is manufactured.

That along with bleached flour and white rice. The three biggest killing substances in the American diet.

I'm glad Adkins is successful...Maybe it will force manufacturers to produce more products that are actually healthy. Refined foods are the main contributors in the cause of diabetes and heart disease.
