My own father passed away thirteen months to the day of your own.

Remember your father lived a long and productive life.

Jeff, I am so sorry. I know you all will miss him and words can't ever be enough. But you have your memories and as long as love remembers, he will be with you forever. Now we pray for you and your family's healing, and that your Dad has at last found peace without pain. These things are also gifts from the Lord...and when you miss him too much, remember that. That's what keeps me going year after year...knowing that my loved ones are in a far, far better place and nothing can hurt them anymore.
Words don't seem so important now, but G-d is with you, your dad is with G-d, and so you will never be without each other. For now we offer our most heartfelt sympathy for your pain and for your mom who probably is still in shock. Be there to love her with all your heart. She will never need it more.
