He's been mentioned as a potential Dem VP candidate.
Ford as a potential DIM VP candidate? I hadn't heard that, but he does have the qualifications... nice looking, articulate and a minority. He's got stiff competition with my state's Bill Richardson though. The Dims have been grooming Richardson for years with bullshat appointments to head the DOE (total disaster) and as an ambassador (just how could anybody screw THAT up?). These last couple of years Richardson has passed tax cuts in New Mexico(wildly publicized) though he raised them in other areas immediately thereafter(wildly ignored). All New Mexico tourist propaganda has his face plastered on it, he even had his own billboard in Times Square funded by New Mexicans.
If you asked me, Richardson is ahead of Ford for VP candidacy because of DNC investment and the Dims are scared of losing a few Hispanic percentage points to GW.
