People have been muttering about Iowa and New Hampshire for years, but I suspect things finally may be coming to a head. There are, of course, two problems. Neither state has a major city (with all due respect to a couple of perfectly nice smaller cities), so urban issues get short shrift. Ethnicity is the other obvious issue. Iowa and New Hampshire are basically lilly white. This is no longer reflective of the country, and it is especially not reflective the Democratic Party, which today is minority based.
Inertia is a powerful force, but I would not be a bit surprised to see the DNC reshuffle the deck.
Guard up. I have seen him on a couple of Democrat panel discussions and found him to be to the right of the other panelists. I will admit, though, I haven't studied his career or voting record. Thanks.
