ROFL! Of course, Hoagland being Hoagland, is implying exactly that. He's saying that the Rover was about to transmit something "they" (some kind've shadow government black ops thing) don't want the public to know, namely that there either is, or was, sentient life on Mars. Hoagland believes that ancient Martians were the source of human life on Earth. Further, the shadow government knows that if Christians found out about this, they would freak out and commit homicides, suicides, and general chaos and mayhem en masse.
Folks, if you don't listen to Hoagland on Coast to Coast, you're really missing some great entertainment!!
If you look closely
at all of Hoagland's writings,
you'll see he believes
much more than just that.
He believes some "group" today
has "hyper ships" that
can move asteroids
around the solar system,
and Hoagland hints that
there are "power" groups
here on earth that have contact
with the ship people...
(Hoagland would be more
interesting if he would
stop finding his "clues"
in bad TV shows,
but at least his theories are
pretty ambitious...)
