Everything I have read says that there is no archaeological evidence of the exodus, if 600,000 (or even 6000, or 600) Jews migrated from Egypt to Israel, or wandered in the desert for years there would be evidence, and supposedly there is none.

If the people only had what they could carry and constantly moved in the desert for 40 years and never cooked, what sort of archaeological evidence would you find ?
