I thought the President as always delivered a great SOTU speech.

I agree! Just came from a meeting and a person there told me he thought the SOTU speech was GREAT! Let the liberals and the media whores think and say the speech was terrible. They are only lying to themselves because your simple average Joe got it!! And they liked it!! And this is what's pissing off the liberal establishment.

What I hated about Rubin's claim is that he intimated Kean said Bush could have prevented 911.

"That would require the RNC to engage in *gasp* politics"

I wish the RNC would be more aggressive in countering lies. When they are not challenged, at some point they become accepted as truth.

She seemed very nice... uncomfortable, but very nice. What stood out to me was just how right these two seem for the current life... Burlington Vermont is chock full of that birkenstock wearing, hit the bike path, eat more soy, professionals who just think they're so smart. The truth is that the Deans aren't ready for prime time, and I think they both know it. She so obviously doesn't want it, and honestly I'm not sure he even knows what he wants. My advise... stick to bike path. Everyone will be happier.

Damn it! I'd rather a contrast between a man who actually lives what he preaches, a la Howard Dean and George W. Bush than a preening Boston elitist who has been planning for his inauguration since he was two.

I didn't see it, but it sounds as though Matthews is trying to make up for accusing Lehane of the dirty tricks.

Speaking of the gome who escaped...wonder when the last time Kucinich washed his hair..what a greaseball wonder when he took a shower last? Talk about dirting the WH if he were elected....eeeeewwwwwwwwww

eeewwww is right. He is one heck of a freakazoid. Luckily, he doesn't stand a chance of being elected President. I'm surprised he made it to Congress though.

"Why does Edwards think it's the law that felons can leave jail, walk across the street and buy a gun?"

"And why does he think, if they want to commit a crime, any law is going to prevent them?"

Amen. I'm self-employed proofreading court trial transcripts, and the guns used in gang murders, for example, always come from Mexico or by other illegal means and are always owned illegally. If someone wants a gun bad enough, they can get a gun.

Well, our jobs are going to hell in a handbasket, and the presidents plan to retrain people in community colleges is laughable at best.

Now, none of these bozos have proposed anything concrete yet, but it won't take them long to come up with some ideas. That's were they can beat Bush, in jobs, jobs, jobs, jobs.

Bush, like all presidents before him, encourage job growth. Bush, like all presidents before him, aren't CEO's like some here believe. Presidents like Bush can inspire those to find work, rather than feeding from the government trough. Bush inherited nearly half of these job losses.

I'd rather people be trained for work, rather than have their eyes trained on the government trough. If you find job training laughable, tear up that diploma you may not have hanging on your wall. That is, if you have one.

Bush inspires hope and a future for people who might not otherwise have one. I'd hate to be in your shoes, getting all inspired by utter failure.

Don't bother waiting for what the Democrats propose. They keep running their failed ideas by our faces every 4 years. Believe me, you won't be inspired by the left.

Now that's a nice pic of Senator Kerry.

Heard a comedian ask "Does anyone else think that Kerry resembles a Shar pei? Come to think of it. YES... LOL
