Just wait. Kerry was acting like he was the President already, not just the nominee.
The litany of Nixon bashing and Reagan bashing and the past isn't going to play well. Boring...
To: Wait4Truth
Do you agree with Fred Barnes that Kerry did ok and is still the frontrunner? Unfortunately yes.
We can't base it on the substance of his answers since he employed outrageous lies and rhetoric, but his performance probably helped him hold on to his lead.
To: AGreatPer
Apparently the Peter Jennings connection is to Nightline, so maybe the debaters will be taped and shown there for the closing statements, etc.

I don't get it at all. He's been around Kristol too long?
Actually Kristol has been sounding more like Barnes lately and Barnes like Kristol. Kristol Barnes. Sounds like a girls name.

McCain complained about everything in the President's SOTU speech. Sour grapes and not much substance.....just whine whine whine.......or look at me look at me look at me.....I guess McCain's worn out his welcome everywhere else.

I agree that someone needs to contact St. Anslems. I thought of that earlier today, too. It's an outrage. Every damn one of the "hopefuls" are PRO-abortion amd either PRO-gay marriage or in favor of civil unions.

Some good questions tonight. Jennings surprised me with a couple of good ones.
Brit had a couple of good zingers.
The guy who kept asking email questions did great.
I think the other questioner was a dim.

Oh, I agree with you.
How easily they could point out the hypocrisy of Kerry voting to give Bush approval for the war and now trying to back away from it.
I'm rather disappointed in their analysis lately as well.
And definitely - NONE of these men have the "gravitas" to lead the country. I personally think President Bush will have to do something absolutely horrible to lose, but then, I didn't think Clinton had a chance at a second term.

ABC Nightline will show the rest of the debate. That explains what seemed an abrupt ending. Here in Arizona Nightline is hours away and I won't be watching it. I saw enough of these characters, anyway.

Clark blew it tonight and show he was not ready primetime. I mean when he misses in his "areas" by taking about Tarinban (SP?) in Iraq and we at orange alert.
Edwards goof up the gay rights question the first time but I think he come back strong the second time he ask it and turn it brit.
Kerry went off on his resume but I think was his stiff self again.
Lieberman I think realize his time is up was upbeat and having fun.
Sharpton Had the line of the night agisnt Dean.
Dean: Struggle the first half the debate but I think did ok in the second half.
I say the winners Were Edwards, Lieberman, Dean, and Kerry and the loser Clark.
