**I'm curious if you would feel the same toward a girl/woman that's been raped or a victim of incest.
**What a lot of people don't even comprehend is that abortion in various forms has been practiced by women throughout history in myriad ways.
**Until you've personally been in the same situation then you don't have any right to pass judgment on another person for their actions or decisions. **

Welcome to Free Republic, feanorah....as of January 25, 2004.

Pregnancy from rape and incest is in the low single digit percentile. That's another discussion topic for another time. Since this article is about abortion on demand, perhaps we should stay on subject.

So, because women throughout the ages have sought to end the lives of their unborn children...it's cool?

Are you speaking from 'experience'? Don't assume others aren't as well, feanorah.

Interesting choice of words as I don't recall ever writing nor thinking that abortion was "cool".

I'm sorry where was this particular rule posted that the topic at hand was to deal only with abortions that were not the result of incest or rape?

I can understand your correcting me if perhaps I brought up a subject such as "Cats and Rats: A love-hate relationship". Seeing as though I am staying on the topic at hand which appears to be regarding abortion and why many of you posting here think the women who have made that particular decision are evil and must always feel a deep sense of shame for their actions.

I have never personally had an abortion and I hope that I never am in a position where I have to make that decision. I am, however, thankful that I live in a society that gives me a right to have control over my own body.
