Yes, but they can also grow up to be vicious gang members who kill and maim innocent people. Lots of people don't survive the acts of the mobs of never-wanted young men who are roaming the streets of our big cities.
And there are children of privilege, wanted and of good families, who kill and main innocent people. They just don't usually do it in gangs while roaming the streets! And it does not follow that if we had more abortions, there'd be less crime. Both abortions and crime are at an all-time high. It could be suggested though that the concept of abortion shows these young gang members that life is cheap and expendable. If your mother could have offed you so easily, then life is nothing sacred, just a choice.
