The problem is the Bush haters ate Bush SO MUCH they dont care who they elect as long as he beats Bush to a pulp.
For a while, that candidate was Dean. Then electability crept in when Dean stumbled. The media, sensing his weakness and sensing the Democrat establishment need for a better candidate, turned around on him. The media being down on Dean has been his downfall.
"He will sell these crowds all the anger, hate, and rhetoric that they lust for. He will promise them all type of socialistic programs, social liberalism, and Internationalism. He will wage class warfare, attacks the rich people and threatens to tax them to death. He will talk proudly about how he signed gay civil unions law when he was governor of Vermont and that he will fight very hard to make gay marriage and gay civil union a federal law. "
John Kerry can do all that and more. Kerry can rally them and say "hey, I am more electable than the other guys. I can go and bash Bush as well as the rest of em." ... that is why he is now likely to win the Democrat nomination.

(Kerry ).. that is why he is now likely to win the Democrat nomination.
I think Kerry may have problems in the south. Edwards just might be the one to watch here. If Edwards shows well in NH, he will be in a strong position at taking alot of the southern states coming up. I do think it will be Kerry or Edwards, but think Edwards has the edge. We will see. I hope Sharpton pulls in good numbers in the south, I may even cross the isle and vote for him in the primary here. Just to have some fun.

I think he will be accompanied by many of his followers as he leaves the U.S. to establish Deanstown, Guyana.

Howard the Duck and his Dean-agers.

He's finished. The hardcore Deaniacs will flock to Ralph Nader. And The Greens will again siphon off votes from the Left, enough to be decisive if the election's close again. Life's beautiful from where I'm sitting today.

>>Will Dean go solo?<<
Not likely. Unlike conservatives who have a proclivity to shoot themselves in the foot every chance they get over a single issue like GWB's amnesty for illegals, liberals are filled with a simplistic rage to heave GWB out of office at any cost. Therein lies the greatest power they have left in this election. Although you can expect many conservatives to stubbornly fold their arms and stay away from the polls, I would not count on the Democratic Party in this election to offset any pig-headed Republicans tactics. The Dems want to WIN in this election, and they want to win BAD.

Dean will go solo, his humongous ego will not allow him to make other choices.
