I believe that Neanderthals were assimilated with modern humans. We are Neanderthals.I believe this also, I also think that children born with Down's Syndrome are actually a through back to the Neanderthals.

It isn't anything to do with the US, you will be affected just as much as the rest of the world, so get off your high horse and stop trying to prove that the US is a better country, you are the same as every other country in the world. You do die over there don't you or are you all immortalHey! Is anybody home? Don Quixote? You're out there flailing at the breeze, I'm afraid. You missed my whole point, but decided to just go-off anyway. That figures. Thanks for signing up today, anyway. Hope you enjoy your stay. But please -- at least, if you must argue and insult, do so intelligently (and intelligibly).

"Thanks! Since I logged on less than 20 minutes ago, there have been three new members. :')" Great. (But, I notice we're getting fewer comments on the threads these days. Quality of postings?)
What is our total GGG ping list count now?

I'll make the count when I send the list updates to the managers. :')
Perhaps there has been a falloff of FR participation in general since the election.

Not a ping, just a GGG update. Hi, farmfriend! Please FREEPMAIL me if you want on, off, or alter the "Gods, Graves, Glyphs" PING list --
Archaeology/Anthropology/Ancient Cultures/Artifacts/Antiquities, etc.
The GGG Digest -- Gods, Graves, Glyphs (alpha order)

My lists are on a floppy. When I changed operating systems, my hard drive would no longer read the floppy. My husband uses the old system though and will email me the files. They will be recovered soon.

Glad to hear that.
A few weeks ago, I tried to read an 800K floppy (Apple II's and circa pre-1998 Macs could use multiple formats) in one of those USB floppy drives. Didn't work. The drive is recognized, but it can't read 800K media, alas. I was really just trying to load some files into a IIgs emulator running in a window... ;')

A blast from the past!

What's up with that??? There seems to be, for lack of a better term, a "good ol' boy" network of some kind. If you're in the club nothing is heresy; if you're not in the club, everything's heresy. Would help explain some of the (heavily funded)goofball projects and nonsensical theories.

Having to endure that movie for two hours would kill anybody off.
