California heating up?
Posted on 01/21/2004 1:56:19 PM PST by LittleJoe
I live in the Sierras about 100 miles north of Sacramento. The water from my well has turned hot. The county inspector just left. He said he has been inspecting wells in this county for over twenty years and this is the first time he has seen this happen!
Anyone else have water turning hot? This is really weird!

I agree with you.

LittleJoe Since Feb 6, 2003 His name should not be "Little Joe" it should be "*Little Prick".

Seems "Little Joe" is lost. I think we'll be had on this one.

"I think we'll be had on this one."
Say it ain't so. What an awful way to end a really interesting thread.

I found this new spell checker that works great on threads. Heh, thanks. In the real world, I never use a spell checker for any of my writing. As luck would have it, I have an extremely broad vocabulary and virtually perfect spelling (I was a nationally ranked spelling bee kid). When I make a mistake like in that previous post, it isn't because I don't know how to spell the word -- I noticed immediately after I posted it -- but that I'm tired and my brain is on idle, allowing stupid mistakes like that to flow unchecked even when I know better.

(I was a nationally ranked spelling bee kid). You are the first one I know with the rank. I was never any good at spelling bees. It takes special talent to win a spelling bee.

Well, I must have entered the Twilo Zone, 'cause when I went back to see the Ponderosa Ranch for any sign of LittleJoe, this is what I saw. And there was a home here this afternoon! Or did I just dream it? Or am I now dreaming that I dreamed it?
To: Orange1998
His name should not be "Little Joe" it should be "*Little Prick". Check his posting history. That would be quite some dedication for one prank.

Ah heck, it's OK. The important thing is that we all had a lot of fun today, pondering the possibility of LittleJoe and the Volcano!
To: vikingchick
It was fun but if "Little Joe" surfaces he is going to answer some serious questions. He must be some nut BUT what if the Volcano sucked "Little Joe" up. Inquiring minds will like to know.
To: Orange1998
If he doesn't have a good excuse when he comes back, like he was consumed by liquid hot magma and couldn't get to the computer, then you'd better believe I'm going to hit the abuse button.
To: Djarum
Just looked at his postings. He could very well be legit. He better have a good story to tell us since the thread us over 270 post.
To: vikingchick
consumed by liquid hot magma Sounds like something Austin Power would say to his beauties. I better get some beauty sleep it's after 1 am here in Houston.
To: Orange1998
'night! Let's hope we hear something from Joe Joe in the am.
To: vikingchick
Sleep Tight. Night all.

I'm going to de-lurk as well. Either LJ had some unexpected company show up or he/she is having a chuckle at our expense. Who knows?
