That movie scared the living crap out of me when I was 6. The invisible monster from the Id - fodder for a hundred nightmares!

Oh yeah, I remember that too! And the shootout scene is awesome. Seen it recently? Can you believe it was from, what, 1957? It's like after that, Hollywood hardly did a really good sci fi movie until Star Wars.
Wonderful movie.
