Anyone who says that things were going swimmingly for him until he signed the measure is posting from a head injury clinic.

You really need to talk to someone who lives in the state and went through the election process if you don't believe what I'm saying.

It doesn't take the whole electorate to put a recall vote on the ballot, just 25% I believe, though I could be wrong. Whatever it is, probably the bulk of those supporting the recall initially were conservatives and maybe some indepedents. Davis might still have won the recall but he pushed many supporters over the edge when he pandered to illegals.

My advise to you is to get out more and to talk to people other than FR. You'll find the views expressed here mirror what others are saying across the country. The only ones on the fringe are you and your friends at the Democratic headquarters and Wall St. Journal who support open borders. As well as sad to say, George Bush.

So do you. I'm in L.A. and Arne is right.

Davis was out, regardless of the last minute Hail Maria.
