Yeah, where's Nittany? I liked that guy. He disappeared when things started to go haywire.

Hey there girl...

A couple of my favorite Eagle fans are AWOL.

You noticed that as well...Hhmmmmm....

I am glad Green Bay will be getting a new defensive coordinator. (I wonder if Carolina's would like to come to Green Bay? *Grins*)

You know, we must not be so harsh concerning the Eagles fans. After all, I liked Andy Reid when he was an assistant coach for the Pack. And I cracked a few ribs years back and it's hard to breathe, much less play football, so I feel Donovan McNabb's pain. I've even practiced biting my lower lip so I could be credible.

But I've become an instant Manning fan--Ricky Manning Jr., that is. And, after a quick read of the Philly papers, when the Pack lost, we didn't whine about cheap shots, bad calls...Green Bay didn't call out cops in riot gear and fans didn't run around screaming "I hate the Pack" after a Packers loss the way Eagles fans (and I use that term loosely) ran around screaming, "I hate the Eagles." (So much for fan loyalty.) But that's what Eagles fans did.

All in all, it was a delightful game. I've become an instant Panthers fan.

I noticed that also. I recall a couple that just found glee in laughing at "grieving" Packer fans last week. Now, they are no where to be found. Hmmmph (that's a word used in comic books sometimes!)

Anyhow, at this point I feel badly for any fan on the losing end. We football fans have such an emotional investment in our teams, that it hurts when they are eliminated. The Eagles and Colts have solid teams and good organizations - they will be back.

To me, the injury to McN is largely on the refs.... the whistle should have blown. But, he was down regardless and should never have taken that lick... he could have easily been touched down.

And.....the Pack will be back!!
