True. Heck, I watched it. While the talent was a little short, I did like what they did with the camera work. Some of those ideas have been used by the networks.
I watched it for two reasons: Demons QB Mike Pawlawski, who led the U. of California Golden Bears to their only Top Ten ranking in my lifetime (#7 in 1991), and the cool on-the-field camera work. True, the guys with the Steadicams running down field trying to keep up with the players looked kinda silly, but there's nothing like being in the huddle with the offense seconds before the play takes place. Even if you didn't care who was playing and/or winning, it was great to see whether or not their plays were going to work out.
