Only the sight of an American Eagle landing on his outstretched arm, would've been greater.

If I recall correct, W put it right over the plate. Which is amazing given the bullet proof vest he had on under his coat. Just getting the ball to the plate doing that is an accomplishment.

Yes .. he did. And .. in all his years associated with baseball .. it must have given him a thrill to have been able to pitch in a World Series. It could have been a life-long dream fulfilled.
I have a couple of pictures of that pitch .. it was great .. and I was praying for him all the time he was on the field; along with millions of other people.
