Are you anti-Hispanic? Do you not realize there is a long tradition of using this name, as well as Maria (Mary) to honor both the son and the Immaculate Conception? Where in the world do you get the idea that people from a devoutly Catholic country would dishonor the Name of the Saviour?
Not in the least, and that is not the only other choice. This is not an either/or scenario.
