You make an interesting point, but I respectfully disagree. The analogy would be if Hillary said: "You know MLK, he ran a watermelon patch down in Atlanta." And the incredible thing is, she could have said exactly that, and the Dems and the media would have been equally nonchalant. Only conservatives are subject to speech codes.

I think if Hillary had said that her political career would have ended right there and then. There are limits, even for her. The left would let her get away with almost anything, but that's going too far. I can't prove it, just my opinion. I doubt we'll get to find out. I wonder how the Ghandi remark slipped out? She must have been tired from all the non-campaigning.
