The Done IS on the former temple mount. The author is misguided at best, though I personally vote for ignorant.

The Dome of the Rock WILL be cast down. I will dance on that day. I may not be here when the new temple is raised, but it will be. Jerusalem is still trod underfoot by barbarians (palestinians), but that will change as well.
