Keep it up, B4.

But your direct quote was about legal immigration, thus a non-starter in this thread. No one has an issue with legal immigrants.

Today's organized minority gangs are in *every* single city of this country, and the brutal homicide and crime rate that is perpetrated by these gangs is through the freaking roof. Prove your xenophobic statement or stop running around and screaming like a little girl.
Chinese Tongs? Gangs of New York? LOL! Thanks for the belly laugh!
Bet you laugh at a lot of things. Ah, the healing power of laughter.
Get yourself updated there pal. That's ancient history that doesn't even compare to what is going on today.
Considering that you were the first one to snottily bring up said "ancient history" in Post 739, I am puzzled why you would now disavow your own post. Consistency is apparently a problem with you.
You betcha, those Irish are taking over and the Irish drive by murder rates are through the roof. And those dangerous Irish gangs are the most brutal!
I can't help but wonder why the color and ethnicity of a criminal is apparently so important to you. If somebody commits a crime, I really don't care what his or her skin color is as long as justice is done. Apparently, you don't feel the same way.

Hey, they got my letter! Seriously, I responded to a fundraising letter with a blunt but polite note about immigration. I'm glad to hear that others are responding the same way. I have been sending them nasty letters too, and letting them pay the postage.

No, we have a moderately conservative president, who mostly lets congress have it's way.
Just out of curiosity; could you suggest 2-3 other Republican presidents who could be considered to have been either as, or perhaps even more, "moderately conservative" then the current president?

OK, Ronald Reagan was as (or more) conservative, Dwight Eisenhower was, Herbert Hoover was, Warren Harding was, Teddy Roosevelt was, Abraham Lincoln was close, and then there were the golden oldies of Jackson, Jefferson and Washington. Sorry I can't come up with more right off the cuff.

Jim,
Have we had any Republican presidents that you would consider to the "left" of Bush?

No one has an issue with legal immigrants.I don't want harmful immigration to the USA, illegal, legal, or quasi-legal. For what it's worth:
- I'm against all illegal immigration. It's illegal and negates any effort to manage a sensible immigration system.
- I'm against endless high levels of legal immigration. We're headed for a population of 500 million people in my children's lifetime. We shouldn't be.
- I'm against endless legal chain migration from the developing world, without pauses for assimilation. Without assimilation, we're colonizing ourselves with imported poverty and some very foreign norms and values.
- I'm against immigration of Islam, legal or otherwise. In the short term Muslim immigration brings us terror cells and terror supporters. Further out, it's an open question whether a large Islamic population is compatible with secular western-style democracy. The signs from Europe on this issue are not good. I'm willing to reexamine this - once the war on international Islamic terrorism is won.
- I'm for the legal immigration of highly-skilled people who can help the USA scientifically, economically, etc. People with outstanding merit in their field, who are wanted by US employers or institutions for those very unique skills, and not because they can be hired more cheaply than Americans (I would expect fewer than 50,000 of such immigrants yearly).
- I'm for the legal immigration of spouses and minor children of U.S citizens, subject to per-country and worldwide caps totaling no more than about 300,000 annually.

Hannity mentioned this also...the story will hit the big wigs soon and the reforms will get quashed.I should have mentioned that Rush tied in the legalized status proposal with the decrease in contributions. Did Hannity?
If the big wigs get the connection, GWB won't be pushing for this very hard and then figure Congress will drop the whole issue.

Hey, the NO 's are doing even better than us in CA. American Patrol has new two polls listed in CA.We need a way to filter out RNC employees from the totals here and we'd be more in line with other polls from conservative sources.
