I don't know that evolution has anything to do with this matter. This is about geology.

Not strictly "evolution" per se, if you are explicitly referring to the macro change from one species to another.

But evolution as a philosophy deals not only with the changes in species over time, but with the origins and geology of our earth. The two are too closely entwined to be separated.
