Lincoln's legacy is not that he "saved the Union," like many of his devoted worshippers so claim, but rather the ravenous government that is destroying the Constitution.

Didn;t you read the article? It's the author's claim that it was the confederate govenment that was the ravenous one. It was the confederate goverment that was intrusive, with confiscatory tax policies and government control of industries. Man, Lincoln saved you from a life of hell in a socialist Confederate States of America. You should be thanking him.
