If you check out a map you'll see the topography is challenging in many parts for lots of activities, while for others it presents great opportunities. We don't have far to travel to ski, sail, hunt, swim, fish or anything else outdoors. There are around 460,000 registered firearms holders here - or as they like to say "voters", so that's a little over 10% of the population with rifles. Handguns are rare here but you can have them if you're in a pistol club.
