Again, I believe it is about defense. We don't leave the defense of our nation to private enterprise. The financial benefits by way of technology advances leaping forward are merely a spin-off. I would agree completely, except for what I believe is a valid defense issue.
BTW, I found it quite amusing that "commie basher" was debating with "Gerasimov." Quite appropriate, wouldn't you say?
