Child marriage is already a reality in other countries.

The danger is that homosexuals are pushing for American recognition of foreign same sex marriages; persons trying to immigrate to the US want to bring their "spouse" over.

Another issue is that homosexuals said that their actions would be between "consenting adults". The difference in age of consent for homosexual and heterosexuals was struck down the same day that sodomy laws were ruled unconstitutional. This defined the age of consent downward for homosexual acts (below age 18, aka ADULTS). Even molestation cases between an adult and a minor have been revisited in light of "Romeo & Juliet" (here "Romeo & Romeo") laws that permit adults to have sex with persons below the age of consent "if they are within a few years of each other".

Between "sex positive" teaching advocates encouraging sex at all ages (with age appropriate partners of either gender) and stores like Abecrombie and Finch selling thongs that say "Wink Wink" on them to pre-teens (and parents BUYING them), there is much to be concerned about.
