I know.
But there is a guy, now in his late 60's early 70's, who lives there who gets his kicks with 9 year old girls.
I have been tempted to make a side trip to Destin when I next visit my relatives down that way.
Probably not a good idea on my part.

Some will say, "But, he did that back in the 60's and 70's! He couldn't POSSIBLY still be a threat!"
Probably they'll say that with much hand wringing and whining.
My wife, as I said, still wakes up at night with nightmares.
She's now 42, and still has nightmares about it.
That's a long time to go living with that.
It's a miracle I got as much info out of her as I did about what happened.

It is a miracle you got that much info. My mother was molested by her grandfather, she almost won't even admit to that and her life has been miserably shaped by that occurence and she won't speak of it. Pedophilia is so destructive to children, but the left continues to have its sites set on those "evil" homeschoolers or those "evil" spankers.
