It's an old military (navy?) warning about being careful what you say about military operations.

if I remember correctly it was originally placed there by Jim shortly after the beginning of military operations after 9/11/01 as a reminder this is a public forum and to not post specifics about where people were stationed or any troop movements they were privy to.

I'm sure others better in the know will give a better anser, but that's how I remember the beginnings of it.

Yes that's correct. We have Freepers everywhere .. at the time there was alot of planes taking off at air bases and movements with the troops .. it was best to not post it all out in the open if I recall
