Either one of them has to be better than ME, but what about conflicts with the software programs that came with the computer.....any problems?

I just asked hubby and he said it will upgrade to 2000 without any conflicts.

Do you have the programs on disks??

Mike says that most of them should work with XP

But he doesn't recommend upgrading to XP from ME.. he says to start from scratch with XP and then load up the other programs in

I have XP and have had NO problems.
