Enemy press today:

The new DEMOCRATIC plan to undermine the President and the war effort requires THEM to convince to world that the mass murder of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens, the torture of millions over decades by an evil tyrant and his co-rats meant nothing, that these same mass-murdering thugs who were actively seeking long range missiles capable of hitting neighboring nations, these same mass-murderers who previously mass-murdered whole villageS using CHEM weapons (WMDS) were not an imminent threat.

Care to tell us, geniuses, what it would take before YOU liberated the victims of Saddam Hussein?

YES, the amount of hypocrisy in both camps of the politcal spectrum is staggering. The Dem pro-Israel faction wanted the war as much as the neocons did, only be able to put the blame on a Republican administration when the flag-wiggling frenzy is over, and no WMDs show up.

... the outgoing secretary of defense, William S. Cohen

BTW, William S. Cohen is a Republican. Not a neocon, but the pro-Israel PACs had their hands all the way up in his a$$ like in the SA AIDS muppet.

"But Mr. Hussein remains in place, and poses a problem that is in many ways more complex now, with arms inspections blocked and many of America's allies questioning the sanctions that remain in place against Iraq."

IMO, this NYT story (and others-with X42 administration assistance) was ratcheting up the Iraq rhetoric so President Bush could be set up in a 'dam_ed if you do' and 'dam_ed if you don't' situation.

If the Bush Administration had not taken action, we would be hearing daily reports of the dangers posed or acted upon by Iraq with the requisite, 'I told you so'.
