Actually, the Free Mumia campaign is smaller and weaker in Philadelphia than in most cities in America.Yeah right.
I guess they forgot to tell these folks:
INTERNATIONAL CONCERNED FAMILY & FRIENDS OF MUMIA ABU-JAMAL (ICFFMAJ)
4601 Market Street
Philadelphia, PA
(215) 476-8812
To: Freebird Forever
I didn't say nonexistent. Just small and weak.
I spend my weekdays in NYC and my weekends in Philly. Back before the Iraq war gave the youngsters a shiner object to occupy their attentions, I was shocked at how a NYC Mumia rally FLOODED a park near the UN, while a Philly rally drew a few hundreds up at Temple U. And if you discount the MOVE hangers-on, there'd be NO turnout.
Unfortunately for Mumia, the cadres seem more interested in protecting Usama and the Saddam regime these days.
