It's so damned cold here tonight! I've got the oven on for heat.

Yeah, it's real cold in Rochester today. We're not supposed to get out of the single digits and the temperature will plunge into the negative numbers tonight! It keeps the population in check! :-)

I like living in Western NY. It's uncrowded, housing is very affordable compared to other major metropolitan areas and it's a beautiful area. My family pretty much all lives around Rochester and that is another reason I wouldn't want to leave now. I lived in many different places when I was younger but chose to settle and raise my family here! If only the taxes were lower though...

Buffalo's snow is mostly lake effect. It can really get horrendous up there. Tug Hill probably has snow all year around (grin)! Nice area.
