I definitely understand "posturing" by politicians. However, Fox was not posturing when he refused to back Bush with the UN regarding Iraq.

I usually keep up with the Mexican newspapers. However, I can't think of anything that Fox has really backed Bush on other than immigration. Even now the Mexican newspapers are saying that Bush is just posturing for the latino vote as he is not giving them anything.

Can you think of anything that Fox has backed Bush on other than immigration?

We didn't NEED Mexico's backing, so it wasn't demanded.

I know enough about the way Bush operates to know that he doesn't make any foreign leader fall on their sword publicly in tribute to him or the United States. Guys like Putin, Fox, The Crown Prince Abdullah ... many more ... do everything they can as an ally, in whatever backchannel or public domain that is of greatest domestic political benefit to THEM. Bush demands no more than they can give. It's an ongoing partnership. That's the way I do business too.

Iraq's oil treasures, potentially controlled by America, were a threat to Mexicos oil oligarchis/mobsters who make a lot of money selling oil to us. Fox is going to support our campaign? HUH? Watcha smokin' Willis?

I really, really admire and stand in awe of the way Bush leads. He has such intuity and selfless leadership. I'm a mark, what can I say? Bush is BETTER than Reagan. We're damn lucky to have him around .... America always finds the right man at the right time to lead us through our critically dangeours national perils. We found another one!
