I would like to point out that deficits are not bad. Debt is important in maximizing growth and value if properly managed.

The problem is that our debt is not properly managed and is set to grow substantially.
It's not just numbers on a piece of paper. Economics exists. At some point, investors get tired of lending money to the U.S. government at low rates and demand a higher return. We've already surrendered part of our standard of living by accepting a lower dollar. We'll surrender more in the future with higher interest rates and an even lower dollar. You're whistling past the graveyard.
