I guess the swords were for field-dressing the deer :) Seriously, you're right and I've carried that many weapons on hunting trips myself. But in combination with the other items, it seemed a bit overkillish.

I kinda thought the same. I generally keep more than that stashed behind the seat in case I get off early and want to take off for the range without going home first.
