Its only a "disneyland" idea because you don't have the moral fortitude to stand up to those who have taken over and demand that they live up to the promises they made when they ran for office.

No. It's disneyland to believe that Presidents or Congress will cut the size of government, since IT'S NEVER BEEN DONE.

Certainly it has. Real federal spending decreased in 1982 (-0.3%), 1987 (-0.5%) and 1993 (-1.0%). Plus, lets compare Reagan and Bush II in their first three years in office. Total outlays increased 6.8% under Reagan, 15.6% under Bush. Discretionary spending increased 2.8% under Reagan, 23.8% under Bush. Non defense discretionary spending DECREASED 13.5% under Reagan and increased 20.8% under Bush.

Don't try to play off Bush's behavior and claim that every Republican does it.
