A French plane crashes near Paris

PARIS: Three people were killed when a light aircraft en- route from Tel Aviv crashed near Paris, emergency services said. The privately owned eight-seater came down in a wooded area to the west of the French capital, a foreign news agency reported on Saturday.
They said they were still investigating the cause of the crash and did not release the identity of the three people killed. The plane, which had made a stopover in Greece, exploded on impact, according to witnesses.
