According to BBC, the crash occured at 0244 GMT, Cairo is +2 hours from GMT. So, it sounds like the flight left at 4:44 AM, (I am assuming that Sharm is at same time as CAI).

So, we have weather in the 50's, early morning, on a point off of the ocean, with fog reported. Could have been a building crash with the plane too low, or a pilot crashing into a hill or mountain, or mechanical. Who knows? Wait till we get more data

I saw people quoted as saying it might have been fog... but all of the weather reports don't say anything.... visibility 10KM!
