I see the sarcasm as the total Black population of Vermont is less than 5000 persons; But, in reality, maybe there is some sort of bizaare psychology in Dean's head that causes him to overreact with Black audiences with a "some of my best friends are black" mentality.

Some enterprising reporter should ask Howard Dean who his closest black friend is. Hopefully he doesn't answer "my brother".
