Thanks for pointing that out, but I found something even more damning to your hero.
Err.. sorry, but here is a bit of a Q & A from General Zinni's briefing after the ludicrously named and executed Operation Desert Fox (1998) that he carried out in Iraq:
Q: There were quite a few of the targets that were still empty
buildings.
A: If I had to give you a number I would say that there was something
in all the buildings. Obviously they prioritized what they had to get
out. I would say in half the buildings they either didn't get it out,
or they didn't get enough out of what we would consider the critical
pieces of equipment.
I think I mentioned before, you can look at this in whole numbers. I
mean I can tell you we had 100 targets, and I can tell you, take the
WMD, the command and control, the most significant targets. We struck
and damaged significantly 85 percent of those. But what does that
mean?
***Oh, so Our Heroes Zinni and Clinton in their four day bombing farce knocked out 85% of Saddam's WMD.
Zinni sure as Hell knows a thing about con jobs. He should go slink off to the hole he crawled out from under and never come out.
