I worked for America West, never as a pilot though! I pushed papers around, took an early retirement after 14 years, got a real paying job, still have flight bennies on AWA though...
As for the Irish, I'll refresh the picture, for some reason, linking to Yahoo photos only works for a short period of time. They are a real handful, I'm doing intensive training on my 2 year old to curb his dog on dog agression, he will walk right up to a Mastiff and try to start a fight, and he only weighs 30 lbs!

Thx for letting me know - never flew AW (although I've heard some unflattering stories!). My dad flew for UAL - I got nonrev bennies till I was 24 (stretched it as long as I could). My mom got lifetime flight benefits, but she hates to fly, much less nonrev. Go figure!
I love looking up airport IDs ... it's a quirk.
Our Irish (Kelly) was like that, too. We had to keep him on a leash, otherwise he'd be off like a shot. But what a wonderful, wonderful dog! I'll go take a look at yours. He sure was great - he even grinned with all his teeth!

Saw the picture - what a great dog! He's adorable (and fierce, of course! Don't want to insult an Irishman!)
