I'm sorry, but could you confirm what I just read? Air France flights have been intercepted and escorted "several times a day" ? and another flight in bound from Mexico as well?

How long has this been going on and is this being reported by any media anywhere? (other than FR that is?)

All the Air France flights from Paris after Christmas going to LAX have been escorted in, as well as all flights inbound to LAX from Mexican airspace.

This was reported vaguely in the press.

I'd say they usually fly routine CAP in sectors or on strip alert as SOP. Since it's hightened security, and coupled that wih the French intel hijacking of last week, this is new.
