I am not voting for Bush. I'm voting against Dean and his fellow dwarves, against Nader, against McKinney, against... And that's a respectable position.
As a conservative though, I will be whole-heartedly voting for GWB. He's done an amazing job for conservatism.

He's not a conservative. He spends too much money on things which the Federales have no business buying. He IS a man who stands by his principles and his friends. I don't always like his principles (CFR is fiasco, and promising to sign a new Assault Weapon Ban really p.o.'ed me) or his friends (Presidente Fox and the Saudis), but it is nice to have a man and not a weather-vane for President.

How So?
The growth of government under his watch is depressing.
Newflash: Bush is not a conservative.

I am a conservative who will vote for Bush. I agree with you on the war and taxes. But on limited government...well, it's very depressing.

You should substitute republican for conservative in this statement of yours if you want to be accurate.

He's done an amazing job for conservatism. I've been very disappointed in President Bush. Can you make me feel better and name a few conservative things he has done since he took office.
The ban of partial-birth abortion is the only thing I can think of.
No one should ever trust a Democrat on National Security, that alone is enough to vote Republican each and every time.
