What's the difference in a "white" vigilante and a "black" vigilante? Or a a blue vigilante for that matter.

I was wondering the same thing. I suppose the bishop was trying to imply some sort of subtle racist motive behind Blair's decision to fight. When dealing with the diseased PC mind, it is inevitable that you will be accused of racism if you are white and disagree with whatever the current Leftist orthodoxy is, even if the issue has nothing to do with race. Nothing worries a guilt-stricken white liberal more than to be branded with the scarlet R. The far Left has been quite successful at using the threat of a racist label to silence any discourse from the more moderate members in their ranks. Of course, due to overuse, the accusation of racism is growing more and more meaningless to most clear thinking people.
