Interesting about the dead radio waves. Lose a tower in Portland, perhaps?

Started here in Elmira at 5:00 in the morning. Falling trees seemed to be the biggest problem out here. Hwy. 126 was closed for awhile. We were without electricity for most of the day. Thank God for my wood stove!

I was speaking of KPNW here in Eugene.
They didn't lose a tower, they were broadcasting full power but it was just dead air. I think their dish got knocked out by the snow.
Had to listen to Portland radio to get news, none of the other local stations seemed to have any people on board, just playing the canned stuff.

My wife works at the little mom-pop convenience store up the block, an older building with a flat roof. They always have problems keeping it from leaking, and it sags pretty good.

Just looked out & it's snowing again here.
