Steve Davis was let out of his car, which his wife was driving, on the Hwy 71 near Joplin, NO. His daughter was driving her car behind them, and was supposed to pick him up. Instead of doing so, she whizzed right on by him. The wife got home and realized that Steve was not with them. Steve has not been heard from since being dropped off the Hwy 71 early this morning in the Joplin, Missouri area.
Can any you Joplin, MO freepers help to find him? The Mother is wanting to hear from him!

You might try getting ahold of Wal-Marts distribution center in Rogers?Bentonville?,Arkansas and see if they can have their dispatchers put word out to all of their drivers.
That one outfit probably has more trucks on those roads than all the rest put together and many of the drivers would have been on the same roads visiting over the weekend as they drive on their routes.Word should spread quickly through family and neighbors, also.

Your welcome.
Any Freepers in the area have scanners once the 24hr mark is hit and the family can officially put out the APB on Steve Davis?
One A.M.Prayer bump Left coast time.

After some of the souls that have bared all around here including me nothing seems to intrusive amongst Freepers.
Esp. in times of crisis.

Thanks for the links. Doesn't sound to awful in the crime dept. for a city that size.
Another freeper turned me on to the hobby of listening to Scanners which is way cool when you are for the most part homebound. My son now has more folks to pray for, the men/women who serve our community.
The transients and heavy drinkers are the most problematic from what I can hear.
Lin Com (our County wide 911 service) called for assistance to their own office the other night as a man was playing around with their mailbox and trying to find somewhere to put his gallon of milk down. We here allot of silly stories. Allot of driving uninsured/unlicensed. That seems to go on the most is calls to check plates.
The dumbest are the druggies/drunks who want to get there partners in trouble so they call the police to report this and that and end up getting busted for bigger crimes.
Don't have to be a super sleuth around here the bad guys turn themselves in.
The other night a woman called because her husband was due home many miles from here. The officers found him at a local motel and no they did not tell the wife he had a freind with him, they felt that was info she did not need to know.

Hiway 71 South of Joplin is real pretty Ozark Hill country.
I'm just guessing but there are likely to be some Volunteer Search and Rescue or Volunteer Fire Depts. that might be called out if needed.
Maybe the State Troopers can get a handle on this, directly.
Bump!

Prayer Bump....
Let's roll
To: kcvl
Shouldn't the contact dept. be in the jurisdiction where Steve Davis got out of the family vehicle?
To: oceanperch
I don't know how but do you think someone should ping the Mo. and even the Arkansas State lists?
If the morning crew catches this thread, someone could just happen to notice something.
Bump!
