Some people refuse to accept half a loaf...
That's a good analogy. If Dubya offered even half a loaf, then I not only could, but would, gladly vote for him. The problem is that he only offers a third of a loaf to the Rat's quarter of a loaf. All that I ask of my GOP candidates, is that they be anywhere to the right of center, even if it is only marginal. Dubya's repeated and continuing assaults on the Constitution and his unequaled spending are just two of his many actions that put him well to the left of center and well beyond the realm of acceptability.
I would welcome a half-loafer. In fact, after three years of Dubya's RINO antics, I would cheer a half-loafer.

Thanks for your thoughts and some are hard to disagree with in total, minor points maybe.I do think we got better than half a loaf, so we'll disagree there, I'm more interested in the statement I copied. Outside stupid CFR and a bad miscalculation of USSC response, I am not up on the Patriot Act concern.
If you have the links to the actual act, I'd like to see them.
Thanks again for your thoughtful response.
